Trees made with beautiful crystals.
I was given a wonderful Tigers-eye bracelet that belonged to my late sister Linda, who sadly passed June 2021. The bracelet was special to Linda but too large for me to wear, so rather than throwing it into a draw, So I decided to make a gem tree from it as both of us had had a collection over the years. I watched a number of YouTube tutorials on [How to make Gem trees}. In the first year I’ve made over 25 trees for Friends & family for Christmas, birthday and even a wedding present, plus a couple of commissions. Every tree I’ve made is done with Love. Never forgetting the strength & magic that each crystal holds. It’s been two years six months since I started making Gem trees, and these days I don’t give trees away as the cost of the crystals and the time takes to make them. Although I’ll be selling my trees at The Pie Factory, Nov. 2025.
I am really proud of each tree I’ve made.
My first tree, which i made from a tiger's eye bracelet that belonged to my late sister.
Dark Amethyst beads on an Amethyst base
I thought this year I would make a tree for International Women's Day. The tree is made with love, the base is Faden quartz, the beads are natural pearls, believed to be feminine in nature, with wisdom gained through experience. I chose pearls as they start life as a bit of grit then over the years it becomes pure and beautiful. Some perfect, others slightly misshapen, still a wonder of nature. I tried to make the branches and the truck realistic and neat, although this tree was not having any of that! Then I realized us woman are not perfect, just brilliant. Hope you find the beauty in all the women you meet today 8th March 2022
I just love this tree purple wire with Cherry blossom quartz crystal, mounted on drift wood.
pearl tree with the roots in bedded on an oyster shell.
I made this piece of art for Baily, there are 5 trees and a little flower set on a beautiful piece of wood. as this was the best way of capturing their whole personality, one tree just wasn't enough.
a weeping willow made from Peridot with the roots set in stone.
I made this piece for a wedding. two trees stand strong next to each other, their roots entwined so if one grows weak the other will pass nutrients across the root system. These are real seed peals, with the roots imbedded onto a amethyst base.
