Angels Through Time
I asked my Guardian Angel for guidance and direction in 2000
I silently prayed to the Angels to bring my photography to the world, and then I didn’t think any more about it. On the way back to the car, hands full of shopping, I took a short cut through the cemetery, where I came across a carved stone angel, I’d never noticed her before. I had my camera on me and for the first time I took a photo in a cemetery of an angel, I call Phoebe.
I finished the film and got it developed, and then took the photos home were my friend had came over for tea. I opened the wallet of photos and whilst going through the pictures I came across this angel. We were both taken aback to see such a beautiful angel; the azure blue sky, the golden glow, plus she looked as if after I had taken the picture she stepped off the plinth and walked away.
I was so inspired I spent the next six months going to every church, cemetery and building looking for more angels. All types, ranging from four inches to ten feet tall, carved stone statues, stained glass windows and wooden carvings. Not knowing that this new project would change my life.

I looked up to see Angels flying in the sky
When visiting Guildford in 2012, I wanted to go and a Norman Church, “St Nicholas”, which sounded really interesting. Having driven the short distance there was the sign for the Church. I parked the car and started walking through the woodland park. It was a long way up to the top of the hill, only to find the Church closed. I was tired and very disappointed, but it was then that I looked up and saw the sky, the clouds were nothing like I’d ever seen before and in front of my eyes they turned into Angels dancing across the sky, changing at every new glance.

Having decided to go for a walk in the Forest and have tea in the L'homme Blue café.
As soon as we got in the car, I saw a feather in the clouds so my husband pulled over, when I saw two angels, but I couldn't get a good photo. It was then that I saw this wonderful angel.
Words cannot tell you how excited I was as I've waited almost seven years to see such a sight, which just happened on that day.
